I provide project management and strategic guidance for community-owned and community-governed projects rooted in a political vision for shared prosperity, sovereignty and self-determination.
I enjoy working with groups to refine and clarify their project goals, and work with them to develop a roadmap to achieve them. As a project manager, I’ll collaborate with your team to provide the direction, feedback and extra hands you need to accomplish your goals. I produce work plans with clear activities and timelines, design and facilitate meetings and retreats, anticipate obstacles and identify corrective steps. In general, I create a container to hold projects together, keep stakeholders productively engaged and add capacity to your team.
"Nwamaka combines two gifts rarely found in one person: she is a brilliant strategist and a detail-oriented project manager. She can help engage stakeholders to shape a vision, and then turn that beautiful vision into a beautiful reality. It's amazing to witness."
—Saru Jayaraman, President and Co-Founder,
Restaurant Opportunities Centers United
I partner with groups as a strategic advisor to provide the guidance and knowledge you need to execute your goals. I provide applicable case study research, trainings and education on political economy frameworks, and feedback and analysis on potential strategies for a specific project.
"Nwamaka has an incredible combination of facilitation and process design skills, deep commitment to social justice values, and nuanced understanding of how these values can be applied to create new economic structures."
—Eli Moore, Program Manager,
Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society
